Founded in 1824, Portugese brand Vista Alegre soon gained the title of Royal Factory in recognition of its artistry success and they've been creating premium quality tableware for some of the worlds most relevant figures, including Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, ever since. In addition to using state-of-the-art production techniques, the porcelain factory also employs 17 artisan painters, who are responsible for decorating the pieces by hand. This tableware collection inspired by Van Gogh's Sunflowers has been exclusively created for the Van Gogh Museum.
