Mamechiyo is a contemporary kimono artist and designer. She is regarded as the most important icon who ignited the biggest Kimono revival movement in Japan. Vincent’s marvelous work of the Japanese plumtree inspired the Van Gogh Museum to invite Mamechiyo to design a collection.
